Oasis Church Birmingham: Talks

Honour - a word often treated in our culture with a range of reactions from indifference to confusion to cynicism - is central to the culture of 'home' that Oasis is building together. It's all about how we are each invited to live seeking to build others up, rather than tear them down; bringing dignity rather than shame. The 'Building a Culture of Honour' series is all about how, as a community, we learn to live knowing that we have been honoured by God, living in the good of that honour, and showing that honour to others. This week, Adrian kicks off the series, giving an overview of the idea of honour, where it comes from, and what it means in our society, as well as exploring how God honours each of us and what that means for how we live.
