Ju Rhyu is the co-founder/CEO of Hero Cosmetics, a skincare brand dedicated to fighting acne. Hero Cosmetics launched in 2017 with one product, The Mighty Patch, as a test on Amazon. Today, Hero Cosmetics sells a box of Mighty Patch every 30 seconds through channels like Amazon, Target, Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, and more. Rhyu’s entrance into the skin care market happened candidly, when she was sent to Korea as part of her corporate job and was exposed to K beauty in 2012.
