We’re back to regular scheduled programming this week with S08E20 - The Canine Mutiny. It’s safe to say that this won’t be anyone’s favourite episode of the Simpson, but nevertheless it has some absolute classic moments. This is, of course, the Laddie episode, where Bart acquires the Moneybank Charge Card and proceeds to rack-up a huge credit card bill. Santa’s Little Helper ends up being repossessed by debt collectors in place of Laddie, and Bart goes on a mission to get him back. Enjoy guys!!

After Ned's family are kidnapped by militants, Lisa starts babysitting. Marge lets Lisa (aged 8) babysit her (older) brother Bart (aged 10) (despite Bart having famously destroyed a string of adult babysitters previously). It goes exactly as you'd expect. [Synopsis at 6:30]

On this week's episode, Sideshow Bob is released from prison to go work for his brother Cecil. Meanwhile Bart and Lisa are trying to find out what evil scheme's Bob is planning. A truly wonderful episode of the Simpsons which makes Andy's top 10 of all-time. A really interesting episode to revisit 24 years after it first aired! The family befriends, John, a fabulous gay man that Homer is afraid will turn Bart gay. Ultimately all it took for John to enlighten Homer's attitudes was for him to save Homer's life. [Synopsis at 15:00].

With the help of Mulder and Scully from TV's "X-Files", Homer tries to prove to the townspeople that he's not a crack-pot (with little success). At the big annual chilli cook off, Homer eats a chilli so hot that he goes on a peyote-esque trip and ends up on a spirit quest to find his soul mate. Andy makes a suprise personal announcement. Rob records the podcast on the top of a mountain and has a surprise encounter of his own.

In this week's episode, Hurricane Barbara bears down on Springfield. After it passes, the only damage one to the town whatsoever is to the Flanders' house which is completely destroyed. After the resident's of Springfield somewhat lovingly restore his house, it's knocked down again and Flanders flips out on everyone and is committed to a mental institution. We then get the back story of Flanders' anger issues, and see him overcome these issues once again to reintegrate into society.

Lisa and Nelson date or something, more importantly: This is the episode where Homer gets an AUTODIALLER! Also Andy confesses to a cancellable offence. [Synopsis at 12:25]

In this weeks' episode, Milhouse's parents reach boiling point and end up getting divorced. His parents have wildly different experiences, and Homer ends up in a crisis thinking his marriage may befall the same fate. A wonderful episode which really took us by surprise in terms of how much we enjoyed it. Solid A-.(Synopsis at 6:00)
