Sit Down & Shut Up

My friends Ethan and Corwin, along with myself, went to the Jets game vs. the Chargers, so we give a brief recap about the game along with an early draft estimation based on team needs and current pick positions.  After that, I go through the recent Golden Globe darling, "Lady Bird," and finally remember to give out the show's email address.

I give a brief update on what went on with the most recent Rangers game before talking about how touchdowns get scored in football and why fans (and myself) are upset about that.  Then I try to convince the masses as to why baseball is worth your time.  Finally, my buddy Pete comes back a second time, but this time we talk about writing in film and why we hate John Wick.  

My old friend and fellow musician Skyler comes by as we talk about improvisations, the creative process, developments in music, and get a new musical recommendation.  After that, I talk about the wild ride I went on when watching the recent Polish film "The Lure."

I have my friend Ethan come over as we make points for and against the sports of basketball and hockey.  I am a hockey fan that does not care for basketball in the slightest, Ethan is the opposite.  We have a nice discussion on what makes each one great sports in our eyes and why the other leaves something to be desired.  The discussion is then followed up with my review of the film "Baby Driver" as I desperately attempt to catch up on movies before the Oscars come around.

I got on the phone with a buddy of mine out in California as we talked a bit about the tumultuous Giants season, the upcoming draft, and a little general football.  Also, a recap of the night's Rangers game and a baseball update.  After that, a breakdown of the highly praised film "A Ghost Story."
