    Christian talks to Belfast comedian Marcus Keeley about trying out new and different types of comedy and what performers influence him. They also chat about the gigs that Marcus runs in Belfast including the Mouth Off in the Menagerie Bar and the Voicebox Comedy night. Voicebox Comedy makes a name for itself as an "alternative" comedy night within the local Belfast amateur scene. Built on a strong foundation of traditional stand up comedy, it features less "mainstream" humour, and more of the lesser-used mediums such as surrealism, sketches, character skits, short films, songs and comedy lectures. He's had shows at the Edinburgh Fringe and performed all over Ireland, the UK and further afield. He appeared on RTE's "Liffey Laughs" and now hosts a radio show on RTE 2XM called "Pimp my Ipod" - http://pimpmyipod.wordpress.com/ Rory O'Hanlon started performing stand-up in 2006. He gigs all over Ireland and the UK having made the move to London recently. His 2011 Edinburgh Fringe show was called "Is It Just Me That's Mental?".

As well as hosting the Mish Mash and Comedy Cellar nights on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in Dublin's International Bar, Andrew performs all around Ireland, the UK and further afield in Australia, Hong Kong and Dubai. He's a regular in places like Glee, The Stand, Komedia, Jongleurs, Highlight as well as taking part in Latitude, V Stafford/Chelmsford and Reading Festivals. We talk to him about his comedy career, the pros and cons of agencies, Saturday Night Live and the Edinburgh Festival.

Ruaidhrí brought his show "Double Impact" (with Mickey Bartlett) to the Edinburgh Fringe this year as well as doing a solo show at this year's Belfast BellyLaughs Comedy Festival. He's supported the likes of Paddy Kielty and Jake O'Kane on their Irish tours. Next week sees him perform as part of Michael Legge's "All Day Edinburgh" show in London with comedians like Tony Law, Bec Hill, Al Murray and the Rubberbandits. We talk about TV warm-up gigs, what his influences are and where the Northern Ireland comedy scene is going.

    Simon Clayton has been a stand up comic since the summer of 1995. On stage he talks about what he is male, fat, mixed race, married, balding and anything else that currently makes him laugh. Although not necessarily in that order. He performs all around the UK and is a regular visitor to Ireland. He first came to Ireland in 1992 to teach Improv to the likes of Joe Rooney, Ardal O'Hanlon and Kevin Glidea. He's also married to comedian and Seven2Ten favourite, Mary Bourke. We talk to him about comedians using writers, young men with spiky haircuts "noticing things" and about the Dublin preoccupation with the North/South divide.

    Christian talks to Michael Downey in Edinburgh as he performs his Fringe show "Standing Up Again" at the Gilded Balloon Teviot (7.45pm). Michael Downey worked within the accountancy profession but the fact he had a personality got him thrown out. He wrote some really hilarious material and was given writing credit on the BBC's Stand-Up Show. Consequentially someone suggested that Michael attempt stand up comedy. He got to the BBC and the So You Think You're Funny? finals alongside Alan Carr and John Bishop. Following this he became a full time stand-up but three months into his new occupation he was involved in a major car crash. Now he's back! (These days he takes the bus!)
