Movies are the most powerful teaching tool in our culture. In the 60s and 70s, a small group of studios led the West by the nose into moral revolution — and the Academy Awards continue to reward films romanticizing evil. But Americans' embrace of moral relativism has flatlined in the past 10–15 years. Hollywood has lost its grip on the American mind — and now there is a great opportunity for independent Christian filmmakers. Will we seize it?

Should we fast — and does fasting somehow make God pay more attention to our prayers? Is it a way for God to test the sincerity of our petitions…and if so, are there wrong ways to pray and fast? But then, why even pray at all when God is sovereign? How can our petitions change His eternal decree about what will come to pass?

Kevin speaks to Sam Rust about whether patriotism is a good thing for Christians — and if so, what a patriot should think about MAGA, trade protectionism, nationalism, and America First. They discuss the positives, and negatives, of the USA…whether any central identity still remains to love…the gospel hope upon which America was founded…and whether it is possible to revive that heritage.

Plato's totalitarian paternalistic state has finally been actualized — and today every secular government believes it must control the education of children. Yet there are signs that this cannot continue. In 1985 America, no one was homeschooled — today, 7% are. Support for public schools has plummeted to just 29%. Kevin talks to Bradley Pierce of Heritage Defense about whether it's possible to overturn compulsory school attendance laws…whether there are any downsides…and what homeschooling parents can do.

Scripture commands that we nurture our children in the admonition of the Lord (Eph. 6:4)—but sometimes it just doesn't seem to work. The panel discusses the place of spanking in the training of children, asking: is it not working, or is it just taking longer than you'd like? They talk about teaching vs atonement…rebellion vs immaturity…changing behavior vs changing the heart…and alternatives to spanking that often render it unnecessary.

For the past 40 years the enemy has been tearing apart family and church through an aggressive attack on fatherhood, motherhood, and sexuality. It is beyond anything seen by any prior civilization — so how can we rebuild and repair what has been destroyed? Kevin talks to Scott Brown from Church & Family Life about what they'll be teaching at the upcoming conference, "Manhood and Womanhood: The Glory of God in the Creation Order."

Many kingdoms come and go…but only one Kingdom remains forever. Yet many Christians seem confused. Does Jesus presently reign — or will He only start when he returns to Jerusalem? If He is reigning, is His kingdom on earth? And if so, where exactly do we see the government upon His shoulder, and is it increasing without end? What is the gospel actually doing…what will it achieve…and how important is it to get this right?

Texan US Senate candidate Ken Paxton is the best conservative candidate on the roster, with a string of solid policy work to his name — including against abortion and homosexuality. He only has a slight history of adulterous affairs. But as he says, "Imagine if we impeached everyone in Austin who had an affair — we'd be impeaching people for the next hundred years!" So should a Texan Christian not vote for him, when the alternative is a Democrat?

The hearts of the fathers must turn to their children — but what happens when a son begins to walk away from the faith? Kevin is joined by Aaron Boldman of Future Men, to discuss 24 years of discipling young men back to biblical manhood through vocational training, structured discipleship, and the timeless wisdom of Deuteronomy 6.

Proud, hypocritical spouses are sadly not unusual in Christian homes. Unsubmissive wives who refuse to attend church — or unloving husbands who refuse to lead the family. They claim Christ, but won't follow Him. So is there anything you can you do? Can you "fix" your spouse? Is church discipline appropriate? Is it different dealing with a bad husband vs a bad wife? The panel lays out practical strategies and biblical principles.

If you wanted to start a world war, history suggests that the proper procedure would be: institute tariffs; stir up nationalistic fervor; insult world leaders who don't agree with you; find an economic cataclysm (unaffordable housing would do nicely)…and perform a high-level assassination. Kevin and Bill discuss America's historic decision to assassinate a foreign leader — and what it means for the world we live in.

Jesus calls us to hate the deeds of the Nicolaitans — but should we hate the Nicolaitans themselves? God claims to hate and abhor sinners in some places, and He gives us imprecatory psalms which invoke curses upon them. Should we not be singing Psalm 137 as Christians — or is there a way to do so while also obeying the command to "love your enemies and bless them that curse you"?

Use of "fear of the Lord" has dropped dramatically, while use of the F-word has increased 20× since the 1980s, with even political leaders normalizing it. Kevin and Danny ask why even Christians are dropping F-oul bombs today. Is it authentic, rejecting a fake veneer of "polite society"? Is it just "food offered to idols," where there is a way to eat without sin? Or is it actually a sign of another different religion with a Christian skin?

A rising tide of antisemitism is emerging in Reformed Baptist and Presbyterian circles. Jacob Tanner joins Kevin Swanson to discuss the Antioch Declaration, why he signed, and why antisemitism is a real threat to the church today.

They discuss the appointment of Reformed evangelical Pete Hegseth as Secretary of War, what it may indicate about the times we are living in…and what we as Christians must do.

With the new craze over weight-loss drugs like Ozempic, how should Christians respond? Kevin and Josh talk about God's values vs society's, how humanism naturally leads to worshiping the body — and how we become what we behold. Then they go to the Scriptures for a holistic doctrine of stewardship that helps us to live well, without forbidding foods, turning our bodies into idols, or over-emphasizing the physical at the expense of the spiritual.

Abortion and LGBTQ issues have zero traction in politics any more. So should we jettison social conservatism for fiscal? Kevin talks with Bill Jack about the utter lack of substance behind Republican fiscal policy. We're doing worse on the deficit-to-GDP ratio in this fiscal year than Biden did in every year of his office. So what should we do when conservatives don't care about social sins, and are more liberal on spending than liberals?

Kevin Swanson and Sam Rust examine the alarming statistics of church decline across Western Europe, the rapid growth of Islam on the continent, and what it all means for the future of Christian civilization.
