This sermon was preached on January 4, 2015 on Epiphany. This message discussed the story of the magi, comparing the Biblical text to popular conceptions of the narrative in our culture. I then spoke about the point of this story: the salvation of the gentiles.

This message was preached on December 7, 2014 on Mark 1:1-8. The sermon centered on John the Baptist, the forerunner of Christ, and the central message he preached: repentance and the forgiveness of sins. 

This message was preached on November 30, 2014 on Mark 13:24-37. The theme of the sermon is the nature of the church's tribulation and the return of Christ.

This sermon was preached on Christ the King Sunday on November 23, 2014. This message contrasts Jesus as the King of Kings with contemporary earthly rulers, as well as Adam, and the kings of Israel. 

This sermon was preached on November 16, 2014 on 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11. The focus of this message is the return of Christ. In the sermon, I outline several false views of the return of Christ, and the error in trying to guess the date of his return. Then I present the Biblical teaching as found in  Thessalonians.
