Alastair says: "Community is about creating synergies out of diverse parts. Becoming grounded means having one foot in the physical realities of this world and the other in the dynamics of people".

    Alan talks about his life and his work. Having been adopted by Catholic Nuns at an early age he started to find his way when he discovered Carl Rogers and Encounter Groups. He describes his awakening: "I disappeared into the most brilliant oneness in the whole of existence. All the boundaries dissolved". Alan worked at the Community Centre in London before going to Poona and becoming a disciple of Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh (later Osho). At this time he becomes known as Rajen and ran Encounter groups before moving on to the Rajneesh ranch in Oregon. In this interview, Alan reflects on his time with Bhagwan/Osho and talks about 'The Art Of Being.'

He says: "It is nothing else but our natural state, always there but masked by our psychological entity". Alain worked for many years to integrate his awakening and has now created a system called The 4 D's: DISTANCING, DISCERNMENT, DISINDENTIFICATION and DISCRIMINATION.
