This week Chas E and Mike Mitchell consult their buddy Jack about Session Beers and taste the Session IPA "Pinner Throwback IPA" from Oskar Blues Brewery. And to keep us honest, we also try a standard IPA - the "Trickster IPA" from Black Raven Brewing. We keep the session theme rolling with the Top 6 Session Musicians and a look at some famous Session Backup Vocalists. Also, we have some more original music from the hysterical Steve Goodie and our own Mike Mitchell, and a crazy Clint Eastwood rant.

Singer/songwriter/comedian Steve Goodie joins Chas and Mike for some hysterical songs and a bit of Imperial Ale tasting. Steve Goodie performs his famous Tom Petty parody known as the "Pedley," and a new song dedicated to the app Tinder. We also listen to his famous "Nascar Song" from his classic cd "Stupid Country." Jack gives us the lowdown on Imperial Ales and we check out two Imperial brews including the Green Flash Imperial IPA and a Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout from Schlafly Brewery.

Mike and Chas E take an in depth look at winter warmers with a taste of the Ill Tempered Gnome Winter Ale from Oakshire Brewing. In honor of Valentines we count the Top 6 songs written with women’s names in the title and create our own Valentines song in a round of Random Song. We also check out a special brew of Puget Soundkeeper Octopus Ink black IPA from Pike Brewing, hear a performance of "Claudia" from Mike Mitchell and revisit a great performance of "Grace" from previous guest Mike Mason.

Mike and Chas E take an in depth look at barleywines and check out Snowbeard Barleywine from Wiseacre Brewing in Memphis, Tennessee. We also continue our look at this year’s Grammy awards and have a Top Six list featuring the Top Six Copyright Infringements. Singer/songwriter Matt Prater brings his authentic country sound to this weeks episode, as he joins Chas E and Mike Mitchell to chat about his latest CD "Mountain." Matt shares with us two great tracks from this CD including the title track and "Back On The Wagon." Matt also gives us the lowdown on his current recording project which we will be hearing about more in 2015. We also kick off some holiday festivities with two holiday themed craft beers including the Yazoo Winter Ale and Blackstone Brewery’s Nick and take a look at the Top 6 Holiday Songs for 2014.

Greg Troyan and Stephen Smith lead Nashville’s premiere glam rock band Lipstick, and on this week’s episode they join Chas E and Mike Mitchell for some more original music and beer tasting. Greg Troyan had a vision to create a rock experience that embraced the sounds of classic rock and evolved the hair rock phenomena into a more current sound. Together with musical parter Stephen Smith (also of Regdar And The Fighters), they have created Lipstick, which is more than just a musical experience - it’s an entire theatrical show. Greg and Stephen give us a killer live performance of their original son Stop and share a few songs from their current albums - Lipstick and Spoiler Alert by Regdar And The Fighters. Singer/songwriter Derek Thomas joins Chas E and Mike Mitchell all the way from sunny California to chat about his love for the surf and, of course, his love of music. Derek and his band Skyline Drive have recently released their album "Beyond The Trestles" and Derek gives us some insight into the inspirations behind his Americana sound be it salty waves or honey whiskey. Derek also gives a taste of "Beyond The Trestles," as we check out the tunes "Honey Whiskey" and "Midnight Lady." The tasting doesn’t stop there, however, as we have two craft beers including Yazoo’s special release of Americana Fest Ale and Pumpkin Patch Ale from Rogue Ales. George Irwin has a sound that blends Texas tradition with a twist of contemporary Nashville country, and he gives us three live performances including "Fixin Sh*t," and "Higher Stakes." Chas E. heads to Paris, France for a special edition of At The Hops. We visit the club Culture Rapide, which hosts one of the best open mice in Paris. Chas gives us a taste of the various artists featured at Culture Rapide and does a special interview with French artist Cypres. Cypres shares his insights on songwriting and two tracks from his latest album Seve including Est Venue Le Temps and Barcelone. Wait there is more!
