In the second half of our look at Colossians 3:1-17, Paul continues to describe how we should conduct ourselves as new creations in Christ.

The apostle Paul now turns to laying out some implications of our union with Christ. This morning, in part 1, he speaks of our new mindset and those things which are incompatible with it.

In these verses, the apostle Paul directly confronts the false teaching troubling the Colossian believers, and warns them to not give in to it.

Coming now to the main point of his letter, Paul stresses the Sufficiency of Christ in all aspects of our salvation. Open your Bibles to Colossians 2 and join with us as we look at God's word.

In these verses, Paul exhorts the Colossians (and us) to be clear on the implications of their reception of the gospel that he has handed down to them.
