This chapter of John relates the story of Jesus meeting an unnamed woman at a place in a village that you would think would be the most popular place in town, but on this day, at this time, there doesn’t seem to be anybody else there. There is a whole lot more here than just a story of an encounter between a woman and Jesus. This story deals with hurt and pain, family secrets, and salvation and becoming whole.
