The most important tool for making this year matter may not be what you think – and not everyone will want to use it – but it’s the most effective tool available.

There’s one thing that drives art, music, architecture, science, business, literature, and anything else great in life: passion. Nothing great is ever accomplished without it.

It’s easy for the dirt & grime of life to obscure our vision so that what matters most gets blurry, but we don’t want that to happen. We all need to know how God wants us to view our future, our church, and our lives.

Most of us are filled with optimism right now as we think about making changes, getting healthier, and doing things better this new year – but the reality is that we don’t have the power for lasting life change on our own. Yet the good news is that God has promised to give us the power we need, so let’s finish up our series this Sunday as we behold how JESUS CAME TO BRING US POWER.

They say it’s the most wonderful time of the year but for many people this is the most difficult time of the year. If you’re having a blue Christmas because a loss or an ongoing struggle, please join us as we behold how JESUS CAME TO BRING US HOPE.

Light plays a major role in the Christmas story because Christmas is a celebration of God’s light entering our world. If you’re feeling some darkness in your life this season, join us as we behold how JESUS CAME TO BRING US LIGHT.

There doesn’t seem to be much “peace on earth” these days, yet that statement can still become true in our lives. We’ll behold how Christmas is proof that JESUS CAME TO BRING US PEACE.

This year we want to pay close attention to the Christmas story, but in a different way – because if we stop at the manger scene, we’ll miss the greater story of how Jesus really is Immanuel, God with us. Let’s BEHOLD how JESUS CAME TO BRING US JOY.

It’s discouraging to pray for something for a long time & nothing seems to happen. But we shouldn’t give up, because there’s more going on than it seems.

One life well lived can impact a family, neighborhood, city, even an entire nation – and that one life could be you.

There’s a tendency any of us can slide into that undermines our growth, health, and even our way of right thinking. Explore what that tendency is and find the solutions to combat it in our own minds as well as in our nation’s “PRESENT DAY INSANITY.”

We’ve seen from Daniel’s example how a faith that’s tested is a faith that can be trusted – but sometimes the test can leave us feeling kind of burned.

The boss gives you an impossible timeline. A neighbor has an impossible demand. An assignment at school seems impossible. When you don't have the time, talent, money, contacts, or resources to do what’s expected of you – what then? Come find out as we look at the example of Daniel in the Old Testament about tapping into the “POWER TO DO THE IMPOSSIBLE.”

The thought of standing out may seem scary because for most of our lives we’re urged to fit in. Yet something amazing happens when a follower of Christ chooses to stand out in the right way, at the right time, and for the right reason.

We live in a fast-changing & increasingly uncertain society that seems to reject everything we believe in - yet even in that we can develop character that brings stability. By studying the life of Daniel in the Bible we will find the power of hope, humility, and wisdom to not only stand firm but maybe even change the world around us. When there is chaos all around, we can have a life that's immovable.

“What do you do for a living?” That’s one of the most common questions people ask, yet the answer is important because what you do is important. We were made to work because God is a God who works.

Sometimes it’s hard to know the roles & responsibilities for family life – but thankfully the Bible gives us some powerful guidance on the matter. If you take it to heart, it can even change your family for the better.
