Anaheim traded for Carl Hagelin from the New York Rangers and then traded for Kevin Bieksa from the Vancouver Canucks. Most recently the Ducks signed free agents Brian McGrattan and Chris Stewart. If you look at the Ducks roster now, then you will notice it is filled with tough guys. Last season Tim Jackman and Chris Stewart both had 11th fights which was 7th in the league. Clayton Stoner was right behind them with 10 fights last year. Patrick Maroon engaged in 9 fights last season. Kevin Bieksa was in just 4 fights last year, but he usually engages in about 6-7 a year. 07/07/2015 Duração: 47minIn past few weeks surrounding July 1st, the Anaheim Ducks lost a few players and gained some as well. The Ducks saw Francois Beauchemin go to the Colorado Avalanche and Matt Beleskey went to the Boston Bruins. The Ducks also traded away Emerson Etem, Kyle Palmieri, and James Wisniewski.Bob Murray acquired a few replacements for the players lost. The Ducks traded a 2016 second round pick for Kevin Bieksa from the Vancouver Canucks. This move was made to fix the open spot that Beauchemin previously held. The Ducks also traded for Carl Hagelin from the New York Rangers. He is a speedy left winger that can replace Beleskey's role. We preview what the starting line-up may look like come October. We discuss the Ducks prospect camp that just happened this past weekend. We discuss the arrival of Paul Maclean a

Ducks Success Earns Trip To WCF
13/05/2015 Duração: 01h09minFor the first time since the 2006-07 post season the Anaheim Ducks are going to the Western Conference Final! The Ducks defeated the Flames in the 5th game of the series in dramatic fashion. Entering the third period behind by one goal, Matt Beleskey scored to tie the game. Beleskey scored his fifth goal in five games against the Flames. He broke Teemu Selanne's record of scoring at least one goal in four consecutive games in a playoff series. Then the faithful at Honda Center had a big scare as Corey Perry would go down after a hard check. He would have to crawl on the ice to get back to the bench. Moments later he appeared on the ice and eventually scored the game winner to eliminate the Flames. The moment was compared to by many as the Paul Kariya moment when he was knocked out by Scott Stevens in the 2002-03 Stanley Cup Final. Kariya came back and scored a goal in Game 6.Eddy and I look at the Ducks current playoff run and discuss why the Ducks have had success against the Winnipeg Jets and Calgary Flames.
