Genesis 14:18-24 — The Mystery and Ministry of Melchizedek •Melchizedek represents the eternal order of prophet, priest, and king, ordained by God from the beginning. •God separated these three offices among the tribes of Israel, as a temporary solution to a permanent problem — the holiness of God. •Jesus is the only One who meets all the qualifications as the Word made flesh, King of kings, our great High Priest forever in the order of Melchizedek. •Now that Christ has come, He has authenticated God’s word, given us kingdom authority, and given us direct access to His throne in heaven! As We Go … Like Melchizedek, we have become a royal priesthood in Christ and have been commissioned to bless the world with the good news!
