Outside The Impossible

I remember being a journalist in high school and how much I desired to be like Dan Rather – someone who gave the people the truth rather than hide and lie about what was happening out there. And then what happens to so many people, happened to me. I let my dad talk me out of it. He said I should go for a real job. At that time I believed the lie that what I dreamed was not possible. Which meant I spent the better part of 25 years after that trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my life.Now I don’t regret anything that has transpired in my life and I know every choice I made made me the person I am today. I am grateful for all of it. I also know that the Universe heard that dream and has been working on me and the world to bring that dream to fruition even though I had forgotten all about it.So here I am almost three decades later giving birth to that dream. I am not choosing to be a journalist
