As we move into a new week the words that are on my heart for you are: MOVE FORWARD. This phrase is not to provoke anxiety or to make you think you need to DO more with your life. As I was praying, the way I understood this phrase is to walk with God. God is always moving forward. Where He walks there is always growth, multiplication, renewal, and resurrection. He is always moving forward but so often, like Adam and Eve did in the garden, we hide from God. Why do we do this? Fear- We fear that we will not be good enough. We fear our past disqualifies us. We fear that if we mess up God will stop loving us. Romans 8: 35- 37 says, “Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death?
