Proverbs 1:1-19 Welcome to our new series called "Wealth of Wisdom." In it, we will be looking at the book of Proverbs for nuggets of practical application and insight. Today, we will start at the beginning with the book's own self-stated thesis; If one wants to be wise, one must understand the biblical definition of fear. We often balk at this word, because we think it is unhealthy in relationships. The kind of fear being mentioned, though, is not what you might think, and it's essential to our proper understanding of God, his character, and our place in the world.
