Yeshiva League Sports Update

Good Morning! Now that the Madness of March has drawn to a close, we turn our attention to the Spring sports as we work our way down to the last few weeks of the 2021-2022 school year. Straight ahead, on the Tuesday Morning JM in the AM Sports Update, Boys Volleyball, Girls Hockey and Soccer take center court. Good Morning, I'm Elliot Weiselberg. The last champion of the Girls Hockey league has jumped out to the head of the pack in the early going. The Heschel Heat have opened up a 5-0 record, outscoring opponents 18-0 in the process. Heschel's final three games of the season will come in May, against perennial West division powerhouses, Kushner, Maayanot and Frisch. Out East, HAFTR has the top spot at 3-1, taking 3 in a row, including a 3-2 overtime win over Maayanot after dropping their season-opener to Heschel, 1-0.
