The playoffs have arrived and boy have they produced fireworks. We'll take you through all of the week's postseason action straight ahead on this Tuesday Morning JM in the AM Sports Update, I'm Elliot Weiselberg Varsity Hockey starts us off with two major upsets. Last night saw West #4 SAR upend East #1 DRS on the road 4-2. Junior Gabriel Hornblass paced the Sting with 2 goals in the victory. The win for the Sting avenges a regular season embarrassment at home and will mark the third time in the last 4 varsity hockey playoffs that one of the #1 seeds did not reach the varsity semifinals and the first time that a #4 seed has defeated a #1 seed since the 2017-2018 season, when West #4 Frisch defeated East #1 DRS.
