We would like to thank Karen Mariscal for hosting our February 8th Empower Women Event, How to Keep Money Issues From Diminishing the Joy of Raising Special Needs Children.  Although the news of a diagnosis can be devastating, years later some parents look back and realize that their lives have been enriched beyond belief. Karen Mariscal, Esq., led a presentation on parenting or grandparenting a special needs child, and the overwhelm and joy it can bring.
