John 17:2-3 With Jesus Behind The Veil-Part 2 Pastor Phil Ballmaier Calvary Chapel Elk Grove 1-30-22 Join Pastor Phil Ballmaier of Calvary Chapel Elk Grove as he works his way through the Gospel of John on Sunday Mornings. Today we begin Chapter 17 in Part 2 of, "With Jesus Behind The Veil". John 17 is known as ‘the High Priestly prayer of Jesus.’ We see Jesus praying like no other time in history. First He prays for Himself (verses 1-5), for the Disciples (verses 6-19) and for us and all believers to come (verses 20-26). In today's verses He begins, "the hour has come..." The Cross was set before Him when man's redemption and God's plan and perfect timing would come together to redeem all men who would choose Him throughout time.
