We seem to honor people more today for their skills and their job than for who they are being. There is more to honor than having a title or being skilled at one's profession. Honor is about doing what is best for everyone, whether they be an enemy or not. It has always been the people with honor that have changed the world for the better. Each person the world has truly called honorable had integrity, honesty, respect, empathy, kindness and courage. Honor does not exist when any of these expressions of love are missing. A lack of charity, honesty, respect and integrity demonstrates a lack of honor.
