The late J. Vernon McGee, on the day of his death in 1988, told his radio program producers, “Just keep playing the tapes until the money runs out.”   That was over 30 years ago, and the every-five-year-long expository lessons through every book of the Bible have been on the air ever since.  Current host Steve Schwetz, who introduces the taped voice of Dr. McGee every day, talks about the worldwide scope of the program since Dr. McGee’s death, and commemorates the upcoming 11th cycle of Thru the Bible.  So hop on “The Bible Bus,” as Dr. McGee called it, and journey with us on the Genesis to Revelation journey through God’s timeless truths.    Thru the Bible is heard weekdays at 10 am on 990 AM The Word.
