Even when they lose, they lose well; so well, that they've reminded me of the 1981-82 Canucks "lunch bucket" squad. A team who came to work every game, with only one plan: to make it as hard as it can be on the opposing team. Sometimes they would win, but many times they lost - BUT - they always made the opponents pay dearly for their wins. The Oilers could come in and beat us 5-1 and feel like they've just played a hellish 7-game playoff series. No one, not even The Great One himself took the Canucks for granted that season. Now I'm not saying that we're off to the Cup - but I'm saying that teams like Washington better not be coming in here expecting us to fold.In this episode I look at the game against those same Washingtonians... and boy did the Canucks capitalize on a team not ready to fight.
