Generally regarded as one of the great novelists of the past 40 years, Banks will will serve as UNLV's Elias Ghanem Chair in Creative Writing from mid-February to mid-March and will appear in two upcoming BMI events: on Tuesday, February 24 and Wednesday, March 11.
