Scripture Unscripted

This week we discuss the introduction to the Gospel According to Mark. We talk titles for Jesus, the author's intent or "agenda" (not a bad word), and some fun word plays that take place in the text.  We chose to discuss Mark because at Highland Park UMC, we are beginning a church wide reading of this Gospel. You can follow along . We have also launched a new podcast called Ruminate This, that will follow the scripture reading plan utilizing a spiritual practice called lectio divina. These are short (no more than 15 minute) guided readings.
