I. The rich man was lost and didn't know it. Acts 10:1-2, 44-47 Many people are devout and religious but are unsaved. 2 Corinthians 4:24; Matthew 7:22 II. The rich man died and did not expect it. vs. 22-23 III. The rich man went to hell and could not change it. vs. 23 Revelation 21:8; 2 Corinthians 6:2 - There is no second chance after death. IV. The rich man wanted another chance but could not get it.  He wanted mercy. He wanted to be where the believers were.
