This podcast discusses research and practice implications of evidence-based literacy interventions for children and youth involved in child welfare, with a special focus on the Paired Reading Intervention. A summary of research findings and limitations helps frame and define Paired Reading as well as lay guidelines for its use in practice. Finally, factors of the care environment are discussed and included in a brief overview of alternative interventions.
