In our society, sex has been distorted in a number of ways. With this distortion, the church has remained relatively silent on the topic often taking the position that simply saving oneself for marriage is the primary task of a Christian. We want to offer a perspective of intimacy and oneness that moves beyond the distorted lens of society and the silence of the church. In this week's class, Dr. Shelby focuses on the current way our society views sex and sexuality and how that affects us.
