Talking Revelstoke Food Security Strategy w/ Hailey Ross & Fraser Blyth

Informações:

Sinopse

Fraser Blyth and Hailey Ross worked as consultants on the new Revelstoke Food Security Strategy, alongside a large committee. Blyth is a planner based in Revelstoke, and Ross is a longtime local advocate and organizer for food security issues. The new document was profiled in this Revelstoke Mountaineer story, and we’ve embedded the document below. Food security issues are big in Revelstoke, and news of the plan generated a lot of traffic on our website, so we followed up with an audio interview. Aaron Orlando from the Revelstoke Mountaineer interviewed Blyth and Ross about the plan, and asked about ways community members can engage moving forward. We were joined in the interview by Lillian Ross, who is three months old, and did awesome in the interview. Also, here’s a link to the North Columbia Environmental Society’s Local Food Initiative. It is referenced in the story: http://northcolumbia.org/th_gallery/local-food-initiative-committee/
