For the last episode of 2018, I present to you a delightful conversation with filmmaker Meredith Danluck. Her latest film is STATE LIKE SLEEP, starring two of my favorite actors working today: Katherine Waterston and Michael Shannon. The story surrounds grief with a central mystery about a widow trying to uncover secrets from her husband's past. Meredith was kind enough to talk for 20 minutes about her process, influences, and what it's like directing great talent while keeping it all together.
