Eaglesfancast - Views On The Philadelphia Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles traveled down to Dallas to fight the Cowboys for first place in the NFC East. After some questionable play calling and dropped passes, the Eagles give up a ten point lead in the fourth quarter and end regulation in a tie. Unfortunately for the Eagles, overtime was all Cowboys, as they drove down the field and scored a touchdown to win the game, 29-23. It was most likely a very long trip home for the Eagles, but these are some of the mistakes we expected to make this season before it started, plus on paper the Cowboys were the superior team… and we still almost won the game. Overall another division loss hurts, but the Eagles fought hard, and if it wasn’t for some crucial dropped passes and another turnover on a fumble (this time by Wendell Smallwood), the outcome would have been different.
