Episode 49: #LMW2015 The Heroine RADIOThanks for tuning in to day four of our Local Music Week 2015 episodes.Well, it finally happened, we’re proud to bring you the hardest working band in San Antonio, The Heroine and their second release, Songs From The Southland Volume 1. Next month, we’ll be taking a trip back in time and bringing you their first full album release, Playing For Keeps. I’ve only seen The Heroine a couple of times, but both times, they were insane. The Heroine is 5 parts hair, 10 parts sweat, 20 parts good old southern rock, and a whole hell of a lotta showmanship. Frontman Lynwood Presley King and the rest of the band truly leave themselves on the stage each night and sometimes Lynwood will throw in a couple of sermons about pain, love, and joy. By the way, if they tell you to some closer to the stage, I’d leave at least 5 feet around them, or you’ll be likely to catch a flying mic stand to the head.
