We talk about what finally compelled the Dems to utilize the last best hope for preserving what passes for democracy in the US. Anticipating the future, we comment on the false equivalence fallacy that continues to figure too prominently in our culture. When it comes to respecting democracy, the constitution, the flag, and our institutions...as well as the country, the planet, and basic human decency, we really need to stop equating the two political parties.
