THE HOME FOR PROGRESSIVE POLITICS This Week’s Discussion:     The House takes a historic vote to impeach the President of the United States for only the third time in history. The impact of the moment, however, is seriously undermined by a criminal political organization, the GOP, whose members regard the US Constitution and US laws as inapplicable to themselves. Republican determination to turn the effort to preserve the US Constitution into a theater of the absurd prevents the House from even forwarding the Articles of Impeachment to a criminal Senate masterminded by Moscow Mitch. How does America survive this? (Sorry, we don't answer that question, we just ask it.)
