Jeff Tiegs spent over 25 years in the US Army and much of that in the US Army's special operations. He was an enlisted US Army Ranger who went to college and became an officer and then served his remaining time in Special Forces (Green Beret) and The Unit (CAG, Delta Force) before retiring as a lieutenant colonel (LTC/O-5). Jeff has commanded units during operations around the globe including Panama, Iraq and Afghanistan. During his time in service he received numerous awards, including five bronze stars for distinguished service during combat in Iraq and Afghanistan and a silver star awarded for valor during combat in Iraq.
