Dr Chatu Yapa trained as a medical doctor and worked in New Zealand and Australia before joining Medecins sans Frontieres in 2012. She has since completed the Australian Field Epidemiology Training Program (FETP)/MAE program and is currently enrolled in a PhD at the Research School of Population Health, ANU.
