Welcome to Episode Number 51! Today on the podcast, I talk about the Individual Technology Plans that I create for kids who need support for academics and organization. Individual Technology Plans: Since the IPad was released in 2010, I have been in awe of the power of apps to level the playing field for students from elementary school through college. Students with learning differences, ADHD and other disabilities benefit greatly from using technology in focused, strategic ways to increase academic success.I have been offering Individual Technology Plans to school districts for several years and now I am able to offer these to indivual students and families.The process begins with a consultation with the student and parent to determine the needs. Test results and other school documents are reviewed. I then develop an individualized plan for using apps for academic success. The student and parent will be trained on using the apps efficiently.
