Love Ya Like Crazy

In this episode, Carrie and Jake react to the recent US Presidential election -- there's a lot of swearing -- and then they discuss a very sweet, romantic book, 'Lola and the Boy Next Door' by Stephanie Perkins, which is just what the doctor ordered. In addition to the election talk, Jake lists the parts of the book that made him cry, Carrie declares her love for a fictional character, and we dissect the question of how many pies you could reasonably be expected to make in a couple of hours, anyway. The Pumpkin Ball makes a repeat appearance as well. Spoilers abound, so we recommend reading the book before listening!
