Episode 18: The One About New Bedford

Informações:

Sinopse

We can barely contain our excitement this week. Entering our virtual studio is none other than Dice Hate Me's Chris Kirkman. He takes time out of his busy schedule of convention hopping and recovering from a nasty bug to sit down with us to chat about several different subjects including one of my favorite podcasts, his own The State of Games. Of course, we try to stay on topic as much as possible as we hit our normal Kickstarter roundup for our second segment. The last segment of the podcast is a very informative comparison between the two Kickstarter campaigns for New Bedford. The first crowd funding attempt for it was cancelled as it struggled to find its footing. About six months later, the second campaign was more than an attempt. By the end of it, it had soared passed the $100,000 mark, quadrupling what it previously had done. We pick Chris's brain about the tweaks that were made and why he thought the second attempt was such a smashing success. Games Mentioned: Codenames, Stuff & Nonsense Kickstart
