Ohio High School Hoops: Around The State

The winter of 1989-1990 through the winter of 1990-1991 saw the St. Henry Redskins capture the attention of the Buckeye State. Thirty years later, people still want to talk about and marvel over the boys from Mercer County. What if I told you a town of just over 1,300 people with two stoplights produced a senior class that went (51-2) in basketball earning state championships as juniors and senior and (14-0) on the gridiron as seniors. What if I also told you that senior class produced two Ohio State football commitments, 1 Penn State commit, 1 Toledo commit, two NFL players, a two-time All-American, a Pro-Bowler, and a Super Bowl Champion.
