Hustle & Flo Radio

Holiday season is here. In the music industry world "holiday season" means 4th quarter music sales. This translates to labels making sure that they push their biggest artists to rake in the sales after nine months of madness. Traditionally there is a 'gap' of commercial music releases between December and February while the major labels collect on their major investments while independent artists push hard to break new ground.  During this time in NYC there is also a lot of opportunity to be busy with DJ gigs. For H&FLO 10 I wanted to highlight new and emerging artists that inspire me to hustle here in NYC. As for the intro, Jonesy and I were flown out to Rome earlier in November to play for the US Marine Corps. Hustle in Italiano = "trambusto."
