This week we finally found out the reason Jonah first disobeyed God and tried to escape doing His will. The sinfulness of Jonah's heart is on display in Jonah 4 as he hopes and desires for God's wrath to be poured on Nineveh.  God has a different response to the repentance of the Ninevites.
