R.I.P. Dilla. Since Jay Dee’s passing in 2006, DJs have been releasing mixes/compilations of his music nonstop. Normally, what you’ll hear are more of the hip hop cuts, but I wanted to showcase more of the soulful tracks he’s produced. We interviewed Dwele shortly after Dilla passed and he said, “You’ve probably nodded your head to more Dilla tracks than you realize,” so make sure you check out his discography.
