During both the 2017 North Bay fires and the COVID-19 pandemic, seniors have been some of the most vulnerable. KQED news investigated emergency preparedness in Sonoma County care facilities in their recent series ‘Older and Overlooked’. KRCB’s Adia White spoke with reporter Molly Peterson about how care facilities prepare for emergencies and whether they are doing enough.
