Ben Ingram, one of the voices of the Atlanta Braves radio network, joined Neighborhood Play for an extremely diverse conversation spanning all sorts of topics in the worlds of sports and music. Some topics included responsible reporting, the tendency of some broadcasters to use nostalgia as a crutch, voting controversies in the baseball hall of fame, and the current state of the Atlanta Braves (especially our mutual fan-crush on Ender Inciarte.) Ben is also a huge music fan and we dove into his tastes, including what led him to be an open minded music fan. We discussed current trends in country music, the recent batch of Grammy awards, and his current favorite artists. This music features music from Grammy Award winning country artist Sturgill Simpson.
