Integrative Health Research From Emerson Ecologics

Gulf War Illness is a chronic condition that affects nearly 25% of the 70,000 veterans of the first Gulf War. This multi-symptom disorder often includes other comorbid medical diagnoses such as chronic fatigue, IBS, PTSD and more. Despite the number of people affected, to date there has been no standard of treatment. This study examines acupuncture as a potential treatment for this condition.
