Joy and rejoicing came to Jeremiah after he found and fed on the Word. We know that if Christ lives in us, then we can surely say, "come what may!" King Ahab was lying on his bed, sulking and he refused to eat. Some times, God leads us into situations that are difficult. In those situations, attempting 'natural' means/solutions will only complicate matters. We learn, that the solution and initiator of solutions, is not human - it is Jesus. Abiding in Him, brings the joy and rejoicing that we all seek.
