Public Health Perspectives

In this episode, the focus will be on accreditation for schools and colleges of public health by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH). As noted on the organization’s site, its mission is to “assures quality in public health education and training to achieve excellence in practice, research, and service, through collaboration with organizational and community partners.” Joining the show today are Laura Rasar King, CEPH Executive Director, and Nicole Williams, Communications Director & Senior Accreditation Specialist. Laura has over 15 years of experience in the public health field and has been an integral part of developing outcomes-based foundational criteria for MPH and DrPH programs. Nicole has been working with CEPH since 2010 where she has aided in the development of accreditation of standalone baccalaureate program.
