This morning let's focus on the notion that we must be on guard for a very real enemy to our progress. The scriptures are clear: there is an enemy that seeks to divert you from your intended purpose in life. Waiting is one of the most opportune times for this enemy to make suggestions, try to manipulate your thinking and even try to divert you from your God-ordained path. Be alert! Be active and be on guard. Keep yourself grounded in prayer, in worship, and in praise. For it is through your redirection to the light of the Lord Jesus, that your victory will come. Waiting is hard but it becomes even harder when our focus is not intentionally, strategically and habitually set on Jesus. As it is at those times, we give space for great distractions to knock us out of position.
